At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 19th day of May 1969

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby

(a) declares the pieces of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government road, and

(b) stops the said road.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the service lane described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington, and be under the control and management of the Wellington City Council.

Lieutenant Commander A. F. Sutherland, RNZNVR, placed on Retired List of Officers, RNZNVR, to date 10 March 1969.
