WAITAKI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION LEVYING SPECIAL RATE
“THAT, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of fifty-four thousand dollars ($54,000) authorised to be raised by the Waitaki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a sewerage system in the Weston Sewerage District, the said Waitaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2.159c in the dollar upon the rateable value, on the basis of the unimproved value, of all rateable property in the special rating area comprising the Weston Sewerage District; and such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TAIERI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Rural Housing Loan No. 2, 1969, of $42,000
Copy of resolution passed by the Taieri County Council on Monday, 28 April 1969:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taieri County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $42,000 authorised to be raised by the Taieri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Taieri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.016c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Taieri, comprising the whole of the County of Taieri; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Taieri County Council on the above-mentioned date.

THE CHARITABLE TRUSTS ACT 1957
IN THE MATTER of Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 AND IN THE MATTER of certain moneys given to the University of Canterbury by the late Robert Bell of Christchurch, newspaper proprietor, during his lifetime for the purpose of providing scholarships for students attending lectures in practical journalism at the said university:
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that the University of Canterbury has applied to the Supreme Court at Christchurch for approval to a scheme for disposition of the income arising from a certain trust fund of approximately nineteen thousand dollars ($19,000.00). The said scheme provides that after payment of the costs of the proceedings the income arising from the said trust fund be applied by the University of Canterbury in and towards providing scholarships known as the “Robert Bell Scholarships”. A copy of the said scheme has been deposited in and may be inspected at the registry office of the Supreme Court at Christchurch. It is proposed that the application for approval be heard at Christchurch on Wednesday, the 18th day of June 1969, at 10 a.m.
Any person desiring to oppose the said scheme is required to give written notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar of the said Court and to the University of Canterbury and to the Attorney-General not less than 7 clear days before the date proposed for the hearing of the application.

IN THE MATTER of Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 AND IN THE MATTER of a trust fund held by the University of Canterbury for the purpose of providing travelling scholarships for students who have taken their journalistic degree, pursuant to the terms of the will of the late Robert Bell, deceased:
NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that the University of Canterbury has applied to the Supreme Court at Christchurch for approval to a scheme for disposition of the income arising from a certain trust fund of approximately twenty-six thousand two hundred dollars ($26,200.00). The said scheme provides that after payment of the costs of the proceedings the income arising from the trust fund be applied by the University of Canterbury in and towards providing travelling scholarships known as the “Robert Bell Travelling Scholarships”. A copy of the said scheme has been deposited in and may be inspected at the registry office of the Supreme Court at Christchurch.
