National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road
IT is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 23 April 1969, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963 hereby declares that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui to Bluff) from the northern boundary of Hautu Part 1A approximately 60 chains north of the Waimarino River to the Tongariro River, a total distance of approximately 4 miles 28 chains, as more particularly shown on Sheets 1 and 2 of plans M.O.W. 15208 and the accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Taumarunui, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Plant Declared Noxious Weed in the County of Pahiatua
(Notice No. Ag. 10418)
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under the Department of Agriculture Act 1953 for the purposes of the said section, the following special order, made by the Pahiatua County Council on the 16th day of April 1969, is hereby published.
SPECIAL ORDER
“THAT, in pursuance of the powers of section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, and section 87 of the Counties Act 1956, the Pahiatua County Council resolves, by way of special order, that the plant known as
Barley grass (Hordeum murinum)
mentioned or included in the First Schedule of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, be declared a noxious weed in the whole of the County of Pahiatua.
“And it is further resolved that the said special order shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1969.”

Varying Notice of State Highways
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works, hereby gives notice that it varies the notice declaring public highways to be State highways, dated 9 March 1960, published in the Gazette, 24 March 1960, Vol. I, p. 384, by deleting from the Schedule to the said notice the paragraph described in the First Schedule hereto, and substituting therefor the paragraph set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

PARAGRAPH deleted from North Island section of Part II of the Schedule to the said notice:
Masterton—No. 2 State Highway.

PARAGRAPH substituted in the North Island section of Part II of the Schedule to the said notice:

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.
