Additional Land at Whangarei Taken for the Purposes of the Whangarei-Kamo Railway

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Whangarei-Kamo Railway from and after the 1st day of April 1969.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve

Declaration That the Jellicoe Point Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Vesting in the Taupo County Council

———

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Jellicoe Point Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve, subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, pursuant to the said Act, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taupo, in trust, for recreation purposes.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

———

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and, further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Matamata Borough Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation reserves.
