A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY

SECTIONS 400, 401, and 407, Rangitikei District, situated in Blocks I, III, IV, V, and VI, Koitiata Survey District: area, 7,086 acres 16 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plans 25968 and 26181.)

As shown on plan No. N. 143/2 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August 1949 and published in Gazette, 4 August 1949, Vol. II, p. 1625, appointing five non-elective members of the Rangitikei Catchment Board, as amended by Order in Council dated 18 May 1959 and published in Gazette, 21 May 1959, p. 646, and as amended by Order in Council dated the 20th day of October 1965 and published in Gazette, 21 October 1965, p. 1807, by deleting “Fields Superintendent, Department of Agriculture, Palmerston North” and substituting “Farm Advisory Officer, Department of Agriculture, Wanganui”.

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 3rd day of August 1949 and published in Gazette, 4 August 1949, Vol. II, p. 1625, as amended by the Order in Council dated the 12th day of February 1962 and published in Gazette, 15 February 1962, No. 12, p. 303, as amended by Order in Council dated 28 August 1963 and published in Gazette, 29 August 1963, p. 1233, and as further amended by Order in Council dated the 20th day of October 1965 and published in Gazette, 21 October 1965, No. 61, p. 1807, appointing non-elective members of the Wairarapa Catchment Board by deleting “Fields Superintendent, Department of Agriculture, Palmerston North” and substituting “Farm Advisory Officer, Department of Agriculture, Masterton”.

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 19th day of September 1962 and published in Gazette, 20 September 1962, No. 59, p. 1539, cancelling the appointments of five non-elective members of the Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board, appointing four non-elective members of the Board, and fixing the election date for representatives of district newly included in catchment district, by deleting “Fields Instructor” and substituting “Fields Superintendent”.

ALL that piece of road containing 12.1 perches situated in Block XI, Puketi Survey District, Wellington R.D., adjoining part Ohuanga North 5B 1E 5; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22674 (S.O. 26839) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
