PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also proclaims as closed the road described in the Second and Third Schedules hereto; also takes the land described in the Fourth Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29; also declares that the portion of road described in the Second Schedule hereto shall, when closed, vest in Gwendolen Winifred Malden, of Havelock North, widow, Jean Disher Craig, of Hastings, public accountant, and Percy Ian Burbury, of Waiau, North Canterbury, sheep farmer, as to an undivided one-half share, and in Alice Ruth Nelson, of Havelock North, spinster, Jean Disher Craig, of Hastings, public accountant, and Percy Ian Burbury, of Waiau, North Canterbury, sheep farmer, as to an undivided one-half share, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 76794 and 160846, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry; and also declares that the portion of road described in the Third Schedule hereto, when closed, and the land described in the Fourth Schedule, when taken, shall vest in George Rochford Hansen Averill, of Maraekakaho, sheep farmer, and Norman Basil Fippard, of Hastings, public accountant.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; also proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and also takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purpose of subsection (6) of the said section 29: and, further, declares that the first portion of road described in the said Second Schedule, when closed, and the first area of land described in the said Third Schedule, when taken, shall vest in William Thomas Musgrove Galpin, of Marton, farmer; that the second and third portions of road described in the said Second Schedule, when closed, and the second and third areas of land described in the said Third Schedule, when taken, shall vest in Ernestine Vida Galpin and Sheila Ida Jenkins, both of Marton, married women, as tenants-in-common, in equal shares, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 709907 and 724751, Wellington Land Registry; and that the fourth, fifth, and sixth portions of road described in the said Second Schedule, when closed, and the fourth, fifth and sixth areas of land described in the said Third Schedule, when taken, shall vest in Mary McLean Fullerton-Smith, married woman, and John Gordon Phillipson, public accountant, both of Marton, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 690798 and 690799, Wellington Land Registry.
