HENDERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Stormwater Drainage Loan 1968, $66,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Henderson Borough Council held on the 15th day of April
1969:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Henderson Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
the loan of $66,000 authorised to be raised by the Henderson
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing for improved stormwater disposal in the
locality of Domain, Valley, and Smythe Roads, the said
Henderson Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of
0.095c in the $1 on the rateable unimproved value of all
rateable property in the Borough of Henderson; that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
June in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid
off, and that such special rate is hereby permanently appro-
priated and pledged as security for the purpose of securing
the said loan of $66,000 and interest thereon at a rate not
exceeding five and three-quarters percent (5¾%) per annum.”

HAMILTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Hamilton City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $102,000 authorised to be raised by the Hamilton
City Council under the above-named Act for the purpose of
repaying on maturity those portions of the Streets Loan 1959,
$200,000; Streets Loan 1962, $300,000; Sewer Loan 1956,
$263,200; and Waterworks Loan 1956, $183,000 which mature
on 1 May 1969, the said Hamilton City Council hereby makes
a special rate of one hundred and ninety-five ten-thousandths
of a cent (0.0195c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value of
all rateable property in the City of Hamilton; and that the
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
April of each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid
off.

a loan of $26,000 authorised to be raised by the Hamilton
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of repaying on maturity that portion of the Streets Loan
1955, $400,000, which matures on 1 April 1969, the said
Hamilton City Council hereby makes a special rate of fifty-
nine ten-thousandths of a cent (0.0059c) in the dollar ($) on
the rateable value of all rateable property in the City of
Hamilton, and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and payable
yearly on the 1st day of April of each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of eight (8) years
or until the loan is fully paid off.

1969, authorised to be raised by the Hamilton City Council
under the above-named Act for the purpose of repaying on
maturity that portion of the Sewer Loan 1955, $200,000, Part
$53,200, which matures on 1 April 1969, the said Hamilton
City Council hereby makes a special rate of sixty-four ten-
thousandths of a cent (0.0064c) in the dollar ($) on the
unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of
Hamilton; and that the special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
on the 1st day of April of each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years or until
the loan is fully paid off.

THE following resolutions, relating to the undermentioned
loans, were duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City
Council held on the 9th day of April 1969:

Wellington City Renewal Loan No. 2, 1969, of $390,900

“PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of three hundred and ninety thousand nine hundred
dollars ($390,900) to be known as the Wellington City
Renewal Loan No. 2, 1969, of $390,900 authorised to be
raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those
portions of the Aerodrome Development Loan No. 7, 1958—
$335,360; Renewal Loan 1963—$1,198,200; Water Services
Loan 1949—$374,000; Transport Loan 1953—$270,000; and
Sewerage Loan 1962—$600,000 which mature on 1 May
1969 and 1 June 1969, the Wellington City Council hereby
makes a special rate of decimal nought two nine of a cent
(.029c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis
of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the
whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of
April in each year during the currency of the said loan,
being a period of fifteen (15) years or until the loan is fully
paid off.”
