ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Taieri County, com-
mencing at the northernmost corner of the Town of Allanton
and proceeding south-easterly along the north-eastern bound-
ary of that town to its intersection with the middle line of
No. 1 State Highway; thence generally north-easterly along
the middle of that highway to its junction with the middle of
No. 87 State Highway; thence northerly along the middle of
No. 87 State Highway to a point due east of the southernmost
corner of Lot 1, D.P. 33, and westerly along a right line to
that corner; thence generally north-westerly and north-
easterly along the south-western and north-western boundaries
of the Borough of Mosgiel hereinbefore described, and
generally north-westerly along the south-western boundary
of the North Taieri Riding of the County of Taieri, herein-
before described, to the middle of the Taieri River; thence

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities
Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant
Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to
