Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IX, Ngongotaha Survey District, Taupo County, for a Quarry (Maroa Pumice Pit)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a quarry; and for the purposes of that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Atiamuri and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Patutahi Town Board and Revocation of the Reservation over Part of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Citizens of the Town District of Patutahi and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for a gravel pit described in the Schedule hereto; subject, however, to memorandum of lease No. 6896 registered in the Gisborne Registry.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Invercargill City Council and Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill and revokes the reservation as a reserve for a public pound over the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land to remain subject to leases 159068, 207847, 209615, 211157, 220211, 204174, and 209614.
