Declaration That Part of the Flaxbourne Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve, Change of the Purpose of the Reserve, and Vesting in the Awatere County Council
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Flaxbourne Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve, subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, pursuant to the said Act, changes the purpose of the said reserve from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for a site for a war memorial, and vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Awatere, in trust, for that purpose.
