The Traffic (Taieri County) Notice 1969

—

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taieri County) Notice 1969.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

4. The warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, dated the 21st day of December 1965†, which relates to Fairfield, in Taieri County, is hereby revoked.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 2 chains measured easterly generally along the said highway from Howarth Road to a point 4 chains measured westerly generally along the said highway from Saddle Hill Road).

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Southland County Council and Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Southland and revokes the reservation for gravel purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Awamangu Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve, subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said reserve.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Ranui Domain, described in the Schedule hereto, shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be a recreation reserve, subject to Part II of the said Act; and, further, pursuant to the said Act, vests the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waitemata, in trust, for recreation purposes.
