of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and an
easement in gross over the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto, vesting in the Hawke's Bay Electric Power
Board the right to lay cables at least 2 ft deep under the
surface of the said land and to transmit electrical energy
through the said cables, and the further right to maintain,
repair, and replace such cables, and, for such purposes, the
further right to enter, by its servants, agents, contractors,
and workmen, with or without tools and appliances, upon
the said land, and to excavate the said land, are hereby taken
for electrical distribution works; and that both land and
easement shall vest in the Hawke's Bay Electric Power Board
from and after the 31st day of March 1969.

FIRST SCHEDULE

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1.15 perches situated in the
City of Hastings, Hawke's Bay R.D., and being part Lot 2,
D.P. 6429, part Heretaunga Block; coloured blue on plan.

SECOND SCHEDULE

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 6.58 perches situated in the
City of Hastings, Hawke's Bay R.D., and being part Lot 3,
D.P. 6429, part Heretaunga Block; coloured orange on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 22877 (S.O. 2825) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured as above-mentioned.

Permanent State Forest Set Apart for the Edgecumbe-
Murupara Railway in Blocks I and II, Galatea Survey
District, Whakatane County

PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the
Schedule hereto to be set apart for the Edgecumbe-Murupara
Railway from and after the 31st day of March 1969.

ALL those pieces of land described as follows:

The Traffic (Rotorua County) Notice No. 1, 1969

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport
hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rotorua County)
    Notice No. 1, 1969.

  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared
    to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of
    regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  3. So much of the warrant under section 52 of the Transport
    Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*,
    dated the 8th day of May 1968‡, as relates to No. 30 State
    Highway (Te Kuiti - Whakatane via Atiamuri) in Rotorua
    County, adjacent to Rotorua City, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Rotorua County, adjacent to Rotorua City:

No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti - Whakatane via Atia-
muri) (from the eastern boundary of Rotorua City to a
point 4 chains measured north-easterly generally along the
said highway from Alfred Road).

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Westland County)
Notice No. 2, 1969.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared
to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of
regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Traffic (Westland County) Notice 1969, dated the 22nd
day of January 1969†, which relates to Ruatapu, in Westland
County, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Westland County, at Ruatapu:

Hokitika-Ruatapu Road (from a point 12 chains measured
north-easterly generally along the said road from the point
at which it is crossed by the Ruatapu branch railway line to a
point 36 chains measured south-westerly generally along the
said road from the said railway line).

Notice No. 1, 1969.

The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared
to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of
regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

So much of the Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice 1968,
dated the 18th day of July 1968†, as relates to Memorial
Avenue, in Waimairi County, is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimairi County:

Memorial Avenue (from a point 1 chain measured north-
westerly generally along the said avenue from Grahams Road
to a point 28 chains measured south-easterly generally along
the said avenue from Russley Road).
