Appointment

Special Duties Division

Colin Arthur Reeves, M.A. (83704), is granted a short-service commission in the Administrative and Supply Branch (Special Duties Division), Regular Air Force, for a period ending 6 January 1974, to be followed by 4 years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. He is appointed in the rank of Flight Lieutenant, with seniority and effect from 7 January 1969.

Transfer in Branch

Flight Lieutenant Sydney Albert Vincent (76191) is transferred from the General Duties Branch to the Administrative and Supply Branch (Special Duties Division), Regular Air Force, in his present rank, with seniority from 1 May 1963 and with effect from 30 December 1968.

EDUCATION BRANCH
Retirement

Flight Lieutenant William Foster (80025) is retired, with effect from 19 January 1969.

AIR TRAINING CORPS
Appointment

Ronald Arthur Fitness is granted a commission in the Air Training Corps in the rank of Squadron Leader for a period ending 6 November 1972, with seniority from 7 November 1965 and with effect from 7 November 1968.

WOMEN’S ROYAL NEW ZEALAND AIR FORCE
Retirement

Section Officer Leonie Helene Miles (81135) is retired, with effect from 27 January 1969.

Appointing a Member and a Deputy Member of the Engineering Associates Registration Board

WHEREAS, by a warrant dated the 6th day of November 1967, Evan Rollinson Simpson, Esq., was appointed a member of the Engineering Associates Registration Board; and whereas the said Evan Rollinson Simpson has resigned his position as a member of such board: now, therefore, pursuant to section 3 of the Engineering Associates Act 1961, I do hereby appoint David Matthew Purvis, Esq., a member, and William Ernest Edward Barr, Esq., his deputy on the nomination of the New Zealand Institute of Draughtsmen, to the Engineering Associates Registration Board for the balance of the term for which the said Evan Rollinson Simpson was appointed.
