RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Dunedin City Development Loan No. 1, 1968—$100,000

Copy of resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on Monday, 3 March 1969:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $100,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing properties to provide sites for off-street parking, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0128c in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly, on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of the resolution passed by the Dunedin City Council on the above-mentioned date.

MILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
North Branch Water Supply No. 1 Redemption Loan 1969—$34,400

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and all other powers in that behalf enabling it, the Milton Borough Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of repayment of the North Branch Water Supply No. 1 Redemption Loan 1969—$34,400 and interest thereon, the Council appropriates and pledges a special annually recurring rate of decimal four five cents (.45c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all property in the Borough of Milton, comprising the whole of the Borough of Milton.

WALLACE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
———
Airport Loan 1969

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wallace County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $12,500 authorised to be raised by the Wallace County Council pursuant to the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing the Council’s share of the overall cost of upgrading and lengthening the runway at Invercargill Airport to Viscount standard, the said Wallace County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0016c in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property within the whole county; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 30th day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wallace County Council held on the 6th day of March 1969.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between Cecil Edward Lockyer and Dennis Blundell, carrying on business as joiners and cabinet-makers in the name of Timber Specialities, has been dissolved by mutual agreement as from the 31st day of January 1969. The business will continue to be carried on by Mr C. E. Lockyer at its address at 15 England Street, Auckland 1.

JOINT FAMILY HOMES ACT 1964

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned person has, by the application enumerated below, applied, under the Joint Family Homes Act 1964, to register as a joint family home the land situated and described as shown after the name of the said applicant; and that the land will be registered accordingly, unless a caveat forbidding the granting of the application is lodged with me under that Act at the District Land Registry Office at Hamilton before the 10th day of June 1969, by some person claiming either to be a creditor of the applicant or to have some estate or interest in the said land.

Application No. S. 438663, Ernest Ponweiser, of Hamilton, carpenter, the registered proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1 rood 0.1 of a perch, more or less, being Lot 11 on Deposited Plan No. S. 5180, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title 1463/62, South Auckland Registry.
