RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridge Court Pensioner Housing Loan 1968, $184,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $184,000, authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people including a warden's residence within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one five six cents (.0156c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

Wiri Industrial Estate Development Loan No. 1 1968, $213,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $213,000, authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of developing the second stage of the Wiri Industrial Estate within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four three cents (.043c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of six (6) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Roads Reconstruction Loan 1968-$20,000

RESOLVED that, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it on that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing interest and annual charges on a loan of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) authorised to be raised by the Mount Roskill Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of reconstructing Halsey Drive, the said Mount Roskill Borough Council makes a special rate of decimal nought nought five (.005) of a cent in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Mount Roskill; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be paid yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

DEVONPORT BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Library Accommodation Supplementary Loan 1968-$4,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Devonport Borough Council has resolved as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of four thousand dollars ($4,000) authorised to be raised by the Devonport Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Library Accommodation Loan 1967, of $40,000, was sanctioned, the said Devonport Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought three six cents (.0036c) in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Devonport; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of March in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of not more than 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

BOROUGH OF KAWERAU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Fire Appliance Loan 1968, $13,500

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of Kawerau Borough Council held on the 26th day of February 1969, the following resolution was passed:

"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Kawerau Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $13,500, authorised to be raised by the Kawerau Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purchase of a fire appliance, the said Kawerau Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought eight cents in the dollar (.008c in the $) upon the rateable value, on the basis of the capital value, of all rateable property in the whole of the Borough of Kawerau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TAUMARUNUI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan 1968-$80,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taumarunui County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $80,000 authorised to be raised by the Taumarunui County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection or alteration of dwellings under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Taumarunui County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal two six five seven eight cents (.26578c) per dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Taumarunui; that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off; and that the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the proceeds of such special rate as security for the said loan.
