WESTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Westland County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of $12,000 authorised to be raised by the Westland
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for purpose
of providing housing accommodation for the Council
employees, the Westland County Council hereby makes a
special rate of 0.063c in the dollar upon the rateable
unimproved value of all rateable property of the County of
Westland; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Te Aroha Sports Domain Grandstand Loan 1968, $12,000
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of Council held
on the 18th day of February 1969, the following resolution
was passed:

"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te
Aroha Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $12,000 authorised to be raised by the Te Aroha
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for pro-
viding part of the cost of erecting a grandstand in the Te
Aroha Recreation Reserve, formerly known as the Te Aroha
Sports Domain, the said Te Aroha Borough Council hereby
makes a special rate of 0.040946c in the dollar upon the
rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of
Te Aroha, on the basis of the unimproved value; and that
the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of April in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully
paid off."

Orari-Waihi-Temuka Redemption Loan No. 3, 1969—$21,200
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
South Canterbury Catchment Board hereby resolves as
follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on the said loan of $21,200, the South Canterbury
Catchment Board hereby makes a rate of 0.048c in the dollar
on lands classed A, 0.0336c on lands classed B, 0.0224c on
lands classed C, 0.0112c on lands classed D, 0.0048c on lands
classed E, and 0.0016c on lands classed F upon the rateable
property in the Orari-Waihi-Temuka Rating District; and that
such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until
such loan is fully paid off.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto
enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby
resolve as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of one hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars
($125,000) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of providing storm water drainage for the central city area,
the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a
special rate of two hundred and eighteen ten-thousandths of
a cent (0.0218c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value
(upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable
property of the City of Palmerston North; and that such

Waimumu Stream Works Supplementary Loan 1968—$1,620
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the
Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Soil Conservation
and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers in that
behalf it enabling, the Southland Catchment Board hereby
resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of $1,620 to be known as the Waimumu
Stream Works Supplementary Loan 1968, authorised to be
raised by the Southland Catchment Board under the above-
mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting the Board's share
of the cost of completing improvements to the Waimumu
Stream, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate
on a graduated scale according to a classification made of the
lands within that part of the Southland Catchment District
defined in the Schedule hereto and known as the Waimumu
Stream Rating District, such special rate being as follows:

Twelve decimal six cents (12.6c) per acre on lands classified
as class “A”,
Ten decimal five cents (10.5c) per acre on lands classified
as classs “B”,
Eight decimal four cents (8.4c) per acre on lands classified
as class “C”,
