FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND AND OF PROPOSAL TO STOP PIECES OF ROAD
Ararimu Road (formerly known as the Ramarama-Paparimuru Road) in the County of Franklin
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and its amendments, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, public notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, firstly, to execute certain public works, namely, the provision of road and road widening relating to the abovementioned road, and, for the purposes of such public works and for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a road, the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and, secondly, to stop those pieces of the said road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken and of the pieces of road so proposed to be stopped is deposited in the public office of the clerk to the Franklin County Council, situated in Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or the taking of such lands, who may wish to make any objections thereto (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation), and all persons who may wish to make any objections to the above proposal to stop the said pieces of road, must state their objections, in writing, and send the same to the County Clerk at the office of the Franklin County Council, Roulston Street, Pukekohe, within 40 days from the 6th day of March 1969, being the day of the first publication of this notice.

TAURANGA CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR WATERWORKS
Notice is hereby given that the Tauranga City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of waterworks; and, for the purpose of that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the town clerk of the said Council, situated in Willow Street, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the town clerk at the Council Chambers, Willow Street, Tauranga; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

All that piece of land situated in the Tauranga County containing 250 acres, being Waoku 2A Block, situated in Blocks VIII and XII, Otanewainuku Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on a plan numbered M.L. 4896, and thereon edged purple.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Drainage (Redemption) Loan No. 58, 1969-$652,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $652,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the unpaid balances of several loans raised by the former Auckland Metropolitan Drainage Board in connection with its drainage and sewerage undertaking, which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Act 1963, plus the costs of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and the rateable values respectively; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender's option, be for periods of 6, 10, and 20 years from the 4th day of April 1969 or until the loan is fully paid off."
