Notice Respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries of County of Whangarei and City of Whangarei
It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, pursuant to section 12 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be excluded from the County of Whangarei and be included in the City of Whangarei. All persons affected who object to the proposed alteration of boundaries are hereby called upon to lodge any objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington, within 1 month from the date of publication of this notice.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area containing 395 acres, more or less, in the Whangarei County, North Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the right bank of the Waitaua Stream with the western side of Vinegar Hill Road, in Block V, Whangarei Survey District, and proceeding southerly generally along that right bank and the right bank of the Hatea River to and along the generally northern, eastern, southern, and western boundaries of certificate of title, Volume 5C, folio 40, to and northerly generally along the Whangarei City boundary, as described in Gazette, 20 February 1969, No. 9, p. 299, to the point of commencement.
