PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Takapuna City Council.

ALL that piece of road containing 1 acre 2 roods 39 perches situated in Block VI, Rangitoto Survey District, City of Takapuna, North Auckland R.D., and being formerly part Allotment 32, Section 1, Parish of Takapuna; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 161039 (S.O. 41819) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
