A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation and
river control purposes; and I also declare that this Proclam-
ation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of March
1969.

river control purposes and shall vest in the Hawke’s Bay
Catchment Board; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of March 1969.

hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in
the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her
Majesty the Queen by Otematata Station Ltd., a duly incor-
porated company having its registered office at Dunedin,
under and by virtue of Pastoral Lease No. P. 305, Register
Book, Volume 2C, folio 586, Otago Land Registry, is hereby
taken for the development of water power (Benmore Power
Project).
