Changing the Name of the Rangitikei Agricultural and Pastoral Association Incorporated (Notice No. Ag. 10360)

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of December 1968

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Change of Name of the Rangitikei Agricultural and Pastoral Association Incorporated Order 1968.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The name of the Society, which was incorporated under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908 as the Rangitikei Agricultural and Pastoral Association Incorporated, is hereby changed to the Taihape and District Agricultural and Pastoral Association Incorporated.

Exempting Land in the South Auckland Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the South Auckland Land District containing by way of admeasurement 21 perches, more or less, situated in Block XII, Rangiriri Survey District, being part Allotment 6 of the Taupiri Parish; contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 51, folio 131, and as shown, in yellow, on S.O. Plan 40086 deposited in the Chief Surveyor's office at Hamilton.

Exempting Land in the Nelson Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THE land described in the Schedule hereto is exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Nelson Land District, County of Inangahua, containing 4,572 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks XV and XVI, Reefton Survey District, and Block III, Waitahu Survey District, being portion of provisional state forest, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1959, p. 343, portion of permanent state forest, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1959, p. 344, and portion of permanent state forest, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1936, p. 968, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station M. in Block XV, Reefton Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly along a right line to the north-eastern corner of the said Block XV; thence due east for 70 chains along the northern boundary of Block XVI, Reefton Survey District; thence south-westerly along a line bearing 200Β°, distance 240 chains; thence due west for 146 chains; thence due south to the north-eastern boundary of part Section 12, Square 126, situated in Block III, Waitahu Survey District; thence generally north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of the said part Section 12, the north-eastern side of a public road, the north-eastern boundaries of part Section 2, Block III, aforesaid, and part Section 170, Square 131, and the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of part Section 7, Block III, aforesaid, to the north-eastern side of No. 7 National State Highway (Reefton-Waipara via Lewis Pass); thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of that highway to the western boundary of the said Block III; thence due north along that boundary to the north-western corner of the said Block III; thence north-easterly along a right line to the point of commencement; and being more particularly delineated on Survey Office Plan No. 10763, and thereon edged red.

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Westland Land District containing by way of admeasurement 32.8 perches, more or less, situated in Block II, Mawheranui Survey District, being Lot 37, D.P. 84, and being part of Section 3; as described in part Certificate of Title, Volume 2c, folio 93.

Government Railways Appeal Boardβ€”Appointment of Chairman

PURSUANT to section 91 of the Government Railways Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint as a member and as Chairman of the Government Railways Appeal Board, Raymond Ferner, O.B.E., of Tauranga, to hold office from and including the 1st day of February 1969 to and including the 31st day of January 1972.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 19th day of December 1968.
