Assignment of Foreshore Licence for Slipway in Floating Basin, Westport Harbour


PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, the Secretary for Marine hereby gives notice that the licence granted to the Buller Fishermen’s Association on 4 September 1959* and assigned to James Thompson and John Beralto Carey on 13 May 1964 to use and occupy part of the foreshore and bed of the sea in the Floating Basin, Westport Harbour, for a slipway is hereby assigned to the Carey Fishing Co. Ltd. and its successors or assigns.

Dated at Wellington this 3rd day of January 1969.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 11 December 1968, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 26 State Highway (Hamilton to Kopu) from the Piako River to the eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 37132, part C.T. 1006/51, approximately 20 chains west of the intersection of S.H. 26 and Farmer Road, at Waitoa, as more particularly shown on Sheets 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of plans M.O.W. 14934 and the accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Paeroa, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Dated at Wellington this 6th day of January 1969.
