Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block IX, Tauranga Survey District, Tauranga County, for Road (No. 2, Pokeno—Wellington (via Gisborne) State Highway—Wairoa River Bridge Approaches)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto for road and to take the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Tauranga and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
