RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Drainage Loan No. 39, 1964-$2,500,000: 5th Issue $600,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963 the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $600,000 authorised to be raised under the above-mentioned Acts for the purposes of meeting the costs and expenses and carrying out works incidental to the first and second stages of the Manukau Drainage Scheme and also new works giving service to the inner area of the Auckland Metropolitan Drainage District, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule, of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender's option be for periods of six, 10, and 20 years from the 1st day of September 1967, or until the loan is fully paid off."

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of one million five hundred and eighty-six thousand dollars ($1,586,000) to be known as the Library Loan 1965, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of demolition of buildings, site clearance, and preparation, and construction of a new central library building and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point three five three of a cent (.353c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off."

ELTHAM COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 2, 1967-$40,000

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eltham County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of forty thousand dollars authorised to be raised by the Eltham County Council in the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making further advances to farmers under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the Eltham County Council thereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal point nought nought nought six six seven cents in the dollar (.000667c) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the County of Eltham, and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly from the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such loan is fully paid off."

LEVIN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waterworks Loan 1967

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the waterworks filtration plant pumping station and ancillary works, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.06857 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Levin Borough Council, held on 19 February, 1968.

LOWER HUTT CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION TO MAKE SPECIAL RATE

Bloomfield Terrace Extension Loan 1966, £60,000 ($120,000)

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Lower Hutt City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of sixty thousand pounds (£60,000) ($120,000) authorised to be raised by the Lower Hutt City Council under the above-named Act for the purpose of acquiring property required for the extension of Bloomfield Terrace, the said Lower Hutt City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five hundred and thirty thousandths of a penny in the pound (£) (.530d.) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) on all the rateable property in the City of Lower Hutt; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be incorporated and added to the consolidated special rate made pursuant to the provisions of section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and be payable yearly on or about the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 25 years, or until such time as the loan is paid off."

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Golden Bay County Council hereby resolves as follows:
