NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whangarei City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a supply of pure water for the use of the inhabitants of the district; and, for this purpose, the said Whangarei City Council proposes to take, under the provisions of the said Public Works Act 1928, the land described in the Schedule hereto, for water conservation purposes. Notice is further given that plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situated in Bank Street, Whangarei, and are there available for public inspection, without fee, by all persons, during office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said work or by the taking of such land, who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections, in writing, and send the same within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the town clerk, at the Council Chambers, Municipal Building, Bank Street, Whangarei.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ELECTRICITY WORKS

NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga City Council proposes, under the provisions of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of electricity works; and, for the purposes of that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Willow Street, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Willow Street, Tauranga; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
