Taking Land for Public Purposes at Niue

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 2nd day of
December 1968
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 326 of the Niue Act 1966, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby takes the land
described in the Schedule hereto for the following public
purposes, namely, public recreation.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 27 perches, more or less,
situated in the District of Alofi in Niue, and being the whole
of the land known as part Makini, Section 22, Block II, Alofi
District, and being all the land comprised in an order of the
Land Court made on the 11th day of October 1965, on
investigation of title; as the same is more particularly deline-
ated on the plan signed by the Resident Commissioner of
Niue and deposited in the office of the Registrar, Land Court,
Niue, under No. 80.

Adding Land to the Arthur's Pass National Park

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares
that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from
the date hereof, be added to and form part of the Arthur's
Pass National Park, and shall hereafter be managed, admin-
istered, and dealt with by the Arthur's Pass National Park
Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

RESERVE 5269, formerly part Reserves 386 and 3285, situated

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric
Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
This order may be cited as the Poverty Bay Electric
Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1968. -
Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the Poverty
Bay Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as the
licensee) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place,
and use electric lines and to construct electric works which
may, from time to time, be required for the distribution and
supply of electricity within the areas described in the
Schedule hereto. -
The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by
the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967 and the Electrical
Wiring Regulations 1961 shall be incorporated herein and
shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may
be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence. -
The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance
by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967,
the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Inter-
ference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in
amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so
far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this
licence. -
The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs
(a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (h) of regulation 15 of the
Electrical Supply Regulations 1967. -
This licence shall, unless sooner lawfully determined,
continue in force until the 1st day of November 1989.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
makes the following order.
ORDER
-
(1) This order may be cited as the Local Agricultural
Pest in Waipa County, Whangarei County, Southern Hawke's
Bay, and Pahiatua Pest Destruction Districts Declaration -
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the
date of its notification in the Gazette. -
The hare (Lepus europaeus) is hereby declared to be a
local agricultural pest in the Waipa County, Whangarei County,
Southern Hawke's Bay, and Pahiatua Pest Destruction Districts.

Warrant Appointing an Additional Conciliation Commissioner
Under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1954

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Industrial Conciliation and
Arbitration Act 1954, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet,
the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint
Clifford Lorrie Hunter
to be an additional Conciliation Commissioner under and
for the purpose of the said Act; appointment to commence
on the 1st day of January 1969 and to end on the 30th day
of June 1969.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General this 26th day of November 1968.
