A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to
be Crown Land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 31 acres 1 rood 37.4 perches
situated in Block VI, Waihou Survey District, being part
Section 4, Block VI, Waihou Survey District. Balance certificate
of title, Volume 1051, folio 108, South Auckland Land
Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 13th day of November 1968.

Revoking a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Road
in Blocks IX, X, and XIV, Runanga Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 10th day of August
1937, published in Gazette, 12 August 1937, Volume III, p.
1805, and registered in the Land Registry Office at Hamilton
as No. 9427, defining the middle line of a road in Blocks IX,
X, and XIV, Runanga Survey District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
13th day of November 1968.

Defining the Middle Line of a Limited Access Road in Blocks
IX, X, and XIV, Runanga Survey District, and Block II,
Tarawera Survey District, viz., a Deviation of the Tirau-
Napier State Highway No. 5 (Runanga Section), and Previous
Proclamation Revoked

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
revoke the Proclamation dated the 15th day of April 1966
and published in Gazette, 19 May 1966, Volume II, p. 790,
and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Napier as No.
204078 and the Land Registry Office at Hamilton as S. 345964,
defining the middle line of a road; and I also proclaim and
declare that the middle line of a limited access road to be
constructed over Blocks IX, X, and XIV, Runanga Survey
District, and Block II, Tarawera Survey District, viz., a deviation
of the Tirau-Napier State Highway No. 5 (Runanga
Section), shall be defined and set forth in the First and
Second Schedules hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall affect only the land situated within the limits of the
areas shown coloured red on plan marked M.O.W. 20261,
referred to in the First and Second Schedules hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

COMMENCING at a point on the centre line of the Tirau-
Napier State Highway No. 5 at approximately 654830 links
south and 19130 links east of Trig. "F", Maketu, in the Bay
of Plenty Circuit, and proceeding generally south-easterly for
a distance of 4 miles 19 chains approximately, and passing
in, into, through, over, or under the following lands, namely:
Runanga 2c 2B 1 (C.T. 9/73), Runanga 1A (C.T. 912/210),
Runanga 2c 2A (C.T. 9/73), Runanga 2c 2B 2 (C.T. 9/73),
all situated in Blocks IX and X, Runanga Survey District;
part Runanga 2A (C.T. 395/185), State Forest, Gazette, 1924,
p. 2120, Pohokura No. 3, Opoto Block (scenic reserve by
Gazette, 1964, p. 566), all situated in Blocks X and XIV,
Runanga S.D., and terminating at a point on the southern
boundary of Block XIV, Runanga S.D., approximately 4
chains east of the Waipunga River, including all adjoining
and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, Maori road-
ways, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses, all
situated in the South Auckland Land District, in the County
of Taupo; as the same are more particularly delineated on
the plan marked M.O.W. 20261 (S.O. 43317) deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT

COMMENCING at a point on the northern boundary of Block
II, Tarawera Survey District, approximately 4 chains east of
the Waipunga River, and proceeding thence in a south-
easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately
1 mile 5 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the
following lands, etc., viz.: part Tatara-a-Kiina No. 9 being
Maori land, all being situated in Block II, Tarawera Survey
District, and terminating at a point on Tirau-Napier State
Highway No. 5 approximately 4 chains south of I.T.V., shown
on S.O. Plan 2837 (Hawke's Bay Land District), situated in
Block II, Tarawera Survey District, including all adjoining
and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes,
rivers, streams, and watercourses, all situated in the Hawke's
Bay Land District, and shown on the plan marked M.O.W.
20261 (S.O. 43317): deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Blocks
III and VI, Awaateatua Survey District, Whakatane County

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928,
I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land
which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was
taken for the East Coast Main Trunk Railway and is not
now required for that purpose) shall, upon the publication
hereof in the Gazette, become road; and that such road shall
be under the control of the Whakatane County Council,
and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner
as other roads are controlled and maintained by the said
Council.

Amending a Proclamation Setting Apart Land as a
Permanent State Forest

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 21 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir
Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby amend the Proclamation issued on the
19th day of January 1925 and published in the New Zealand
Gazette on the 23rd day of January 1925, at page 156, by
revoking that part of the description in the Schedule to the
said Proclamation as is set out in the First Schedule hereto,
and substituting therefor the description set out in the Second
Schedule hereto, and this amendment shall take effect as
from the date of the said Proclamation.
