Missing Persons—Notice under Section 447 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953

Pursuant to section 447 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Trustee hereby gives notice that a list of missing persons has been filed at the office of the Registrar of the Maori Land Court at Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Gisborne, Wanganui, Palmerston North, and Christchurch, and at all suboffices of the Maori and Island Affairs Department, where the same may be inspected during office hours without payment of a fee.

Lunch Hour Opening at Certain Magistrates' Courts

Pursuant to rule 11 (2) of the Magistrates’ Courts Rules 1948, the Minister of Justice has directed that the Magistrates’ Courts at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Palmerston North, and Invercargill be open to the public from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on and from 2 January 1969.

Unclaimed Moneys—Notice under Section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953

Pursuant to section 30 of the Maori Trustee Act 1953, the Maori Trustee hereby gives notice that lists of unclaimed moneys, derived from all Maori Land Court districts and held by the Maori Trustee, have been filed at the office of the Registrar of the Maori Land Court at Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Gisborne, Wanganui, Palmerston North, and Christchurch, and at all suboffices of the Maori and Island Affairs Department, where the same may be inspected during office hours without payment of a fee.

Varying Notice of Declaration of State Highways

Pursuant to section 11 of the National Road Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with written approval of the Minister of Works, hereby cancels the paragraph described in the First Schedule hereto and contained in the varying notice of declaration of state highway dated 11 July 1963 and substituting therefor the paragraph set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

WANGANUI—

No. 3 State Highway


SECOND SCHEDULE

WANGANUI—

No. 3 State Highway—From the north-western boundary of the city, along Great North Road, Victoria Avenue, Ingestre Street, St. Hill Street, Guyton Street, Heads Road, and the Wanganui Metropolitan Motorway to the south-eastern boundary of the city.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board by resolution dated 18 December and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui to Bluff) commencing at the Western boundary of Omaru Borough and proceeding generally south-westwards to Kakanui River, as more particularly shown on Sheets 1 and 2 of Plan M.O.W. 14848 and the accompanying schedule held in the office of The Engineer, Ministry of Works, Oamaru, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 18 November 1968 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) from its junction with No. 5 State Highway (Tirau-Napier), in Matamata County approximately ½ mile south of Tirau, generally southwards to the Oraka Stream Bridge at Putaruru a total distance of approximately 4.23 miles, as more particularly shown on Sheets 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 of plan M.O.W. 14786 and the accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Tauranga, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 18 November 1968 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton to Woodville) from its intersection with Ohangai Road to its junction with Fantham Street for its full width and from thence to its junction with Glover Road for its western half width, as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan M.O.W. 14855 and the accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, New Plymouth, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 18 November 1968 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 35 State Highway (Opotiki to Gisborne) from 3 chains west of its intersection with Murphy Road for its full width to the intersection of Gisborne City boundary with the western boundary of the highway reserve and from thence for the part width lying within Cook County to the intersection of Gisborne City boundary with the eastern boundary of the highway reserve, as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of plan M.O.W. 14841 and the accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Gisborne, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 18 November 1968 and pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No. 57 State Highway (Levin to Palmerston North) from its intersection with Camp Road and Hewitt Road to the top of Massey Hill at the eastern boundary of Pt 200, Town of Fitzherbert (C.T. 372/84), a total distance of approximately 2 miles 63 chains, as more particularly shown on Sheets 1, 2, 3, and 4 of plan M.O.W. 14847 and the accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Palmerston North, and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Income tax payable for the year of assessment which commenced on the 1st day of April 1968 on income derived (or deemed to have been derived) during the income year which commenced on the 1st day of April 1967 by:

(1) Every subsisting company* otherwise than as trustee or agent;

(2) Every public authority otherwise than as trustee or agent;
