HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
  1. This order may be cited as the Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society (Incorporated), Franklin Branch, Order 1968.
  2. The Intellectually Handicapped Children's Society (Incorporated), Franklin Branch, an organisation approved by the Minister of Labour under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of the sheltered workshop at Merrivale School, Paerata Highway, Pukekohe, from:

(a) All the provisions of every award and industrial agreement which would otherwise be applicable in respect of persons employed in that workshop; and
(b) Section 34 of the Factories Act 1946 and all the provisions of the Annual Holidays Act 1944 and the Minimum Wage Act 1945.

Authorising Waitemata County Council to Reclaim Vested Foreshore from Whau River

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Waitemata County Council to reclaim from Whau River two areas totalling 4 acres 3 roods 39 perches, more or less; as shown, edged red, on plan marked M.D. 13096 deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, being land vested in the Auckland Harbour Board.
