City, and is there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that any person affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if he has any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, send his written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office. And notice is hereby further given that if any objection is made, as aforesaid, a public hearing of that objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of that hearing, and at that hearing each objector will be advised of the reasons for the proposed taking.

SCHEDULE

All that parcel of land containing two acres two roods twenty-two decimal eight six perches (2a. 2r. 22.86p.), more or less, situate in the City of Wellington, being part Section 30, Karori District, and being also Lot 16 on Deposited Plan 2011, and Lots 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, and 83 and part Lot 69 on Deposited Plan 2226, and being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title No. D. 1/609 Wellington Registry.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given that the Oxford County Council propose to take, pursuant to the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, the land described in the Schedule hereto, together with all improvements thereon, for a road. Every person affected by the proposed taking or by the proposed work is hereby called upon to set forth, in writing, any objection he may wish to make, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Oxford County Council, Main Street, Oxford (postal address: P.O. Box 9, Oxford), where a plan of the said land may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours. If any such notice of objection is received a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land situated in the County of Oxford containing 7 acres 10 perches, more or less, being part Maori Reserve 897, Tawera, and being part of the land in certificate of title, Volume 140, folio 144, Canterbury Registry; shown, coloured blue, on plan S.O. 10518.

MORRINSVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waterworks Renewal Loan 1968, $54,760

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Morrinsville Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $54,760 authorised to be raised by the Morrinsville Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying that portion of the Waterworks Loan 1962, $437,000, maturing on 8 December 1968, the said Morrinsville Borough Council hereby makes a rate of decimal one four cents (.14c) in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Morrinsville; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 8th day of June and the 8th day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 29 years, until the loan is fully paid off.

POVERTY BAY CATCHMENT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waipaoa River Flood Control Scheme Redemption Loan 1968, $29,100

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $29,100 authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Waipaoa River Flood Control Scheme Loan 1952, $398,900, which matures on 19 April 1969, the said Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate in the $1.00 upon the rateable property in the various classes within the Waipaoa River flood control scheme rating area, as defined by the classification list prepared and adopted by the Board on 4 May 1951, for the purpose of rating for such scheme, and as deposited in the office of the Board; that the said special rate in the various classes, according to such classification list, shall be as set out in the following Schedule, and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off."

TE KUITI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bridge Redemption Loan 1968, of $7,700

Notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the above Council, held on the 18th day of November 1968, the following Resolution was passed.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of seven thousand seven hundred dollars ($7,700) authorised to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Bridge Replacement Loan 1954, of $36,000, which matures on 12 December 1968, the said Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four two of a cent (.042c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Borough of Te Kuiti; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIPUKURAU COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipukurau County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $10,000 authorised to be raised by the Waipukurau County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of providing sewerage reticulation in the Smith Street urban drainage area of the County of Waipukurau, the said Waipukurau County Council hereby makes a special rate of 2.023379c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Smith Street urban drainage area, comprising the special rating area declared by special order on 13 May 1968; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Waipukurau County Council, held on 20 November 1968.
