HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND AND OF PROPOSAL TO STOP
ROAD
In the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and in the matter of
the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the
Hobson County Council proposes, under the provisions of
the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work,
namely, the provision of a road within the County of Hobson;
and, for the purposes of such public work, the lands described
in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken, and it
is proposed to stop those portions of road described in the
Second Schedule hereto. And notice is hereby given that a
plan of the lands so required to be taken and the road to be
stopped is deposited in the public office of the clerk of the
said Council, situated in Dargaville, and is there open for
inspection to all persons during ordinary office hours; that
all persons affected by the taking of the said lands, or the
proposed stopping of unused road, should, if they have any
objection to the taking of the said lands (not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation) or to
the proposed stopping of unused road, set forth the same, in
writing, and send such writing, within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County
Office, Dargaville; and that, if any objection is made in
accordance with this notice, a public hearing of objection will
be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each
objector will be advised of the time and place of hearing.
The land to be taken is for part of Rottotuna Road.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Taupo Borough Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928,
to take for electricity purposes the land described in the
First Schedule hereto, and to take for electricity purposes
an easement over the land described in the Second, Third,
and Fourth Schedules hereto. A plan showing the land pro-
posed to be taken, and of the easements proposed to be
taken, is available for public inspection at the office of the
Taupo Borough Council, Storey Place, Taupo, during 40 days
from the date of first publication of this notice. All persons
affected by the taking of the land, and having objections
thereto, are hereby called upon to set forth their objections,
in writing, and send the same to the office of the Taupo

and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in
that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for
street widening purposes in Mount Pleasant Road, in the
City of Wellington; and, for the purpose of that public work,
the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be
taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the
land which is required to be taken is deposited in the public
office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, in the Municipal
Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said City, and is
there open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during
ordinary office hours, and that any person affected by the
execution of the said public work or the taking of the said
land should, if he has any objection to the execution of the
said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being
an objection to the amount or payment of compensation,
send his written objection, within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice, to the Wellington City Council,
addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office. And notice is
