Land Taken for Street in the City of Nelson

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Finance Act (No. 2) 1945, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Nelson as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 2nd day of December 1968.

SCHEDULE
NELSON LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block III, Waimea Survey District, City of Nelson, Nelson R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Being
0 0 24.4 Part Section 79, District of Suburban South; coloured blue on plan.
0 2 10.6 Part Lot 1, D.P. 213, being part Sections 43 and 46, District of Suburban South; coloured sepia on plan.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22671 (S.O. 10721) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above-mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 29th day of October 1968.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water power (cable terminal station).

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 17 acres 2 roods 19 perches situated in Block IV, Port Nicholson Survey District, Wellington R.D., and being Section 97, Terawhiti District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22414 (S.O. 26301) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 29th day of October 1968.

Amending a Proclamation Taking Land for the Purposes of Street and Taking Land and Leasehold Estate in Land for the Purposes of Parking Places in the City of Dunedin.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby amend the proclamation dated 20 November 1967 and published in Gazette, 30 November 1967, No. 78, p. 2160, taking land for the purposes of street and taking land and leasehold estate in land for the purpose of parking places in the City of Dunedin, by adding, after the words “for the purposes of parking places”, appearing in the fourteenth line thereof, the following words “and the said lands and the said leasehold estate shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Dunedin from and after the date hereinafter mentioned”.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 4th day of November 1968.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 25th day of May 1965 and published in Gazette, 1 July 1965, Vol. II, p. 1045, registered as Proclamation No. S. 318840, South Auckland Land Registry, taking land for the development of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River power scheme) insofar as it affects the area of land containing 2 roods 21.7 perches, being part Section 17, Block VII, Atiamuri Survey District, thirdly described in the First Schedule to the said Proclamation.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 4th day of November 1968.
