RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wellington City Housing Land Development Loan
(Johnsonville East) 1968, of $400,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 13th day of November 1968:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to be known as the Wellington City Housing Land Development Loan (Johnsonville East) 1968, of $400,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing and developing land for housing, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two nought of a cent (.020c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Wellington City Housing (Broderick Road, Stage II) Loan
1968, of $153,000
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 13th day of November 1968:
“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and fifty-three thousand dollars ($153,000) to be known as the Wellington City Housing (Broderick Road, Stage II) Loan 1968, of $153,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and constructing accommodation for renting, partly to pensioners and partly to the public, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought six of a cent (.006c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

BULLER ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
—
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Buller Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $80,000 authorised to be raised by the Buller Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of constructing workshops, garage, store, and ancillary buildings, the said Buller Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought seven five of a cent (.075c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Buller Electric Power District, comprising part of the County of Buller and the whole of the Borough of Westport; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Buller Electric Power Board at a meeting held on the 13th day of November 1968.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
—
Electricity Extension Loan 1968—$660,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers it in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of six hundred and sixty thousand dollars ($660,000) authorised to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending the distribution system and electrical reticulation of the Council’s electricity undertaking, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of .000805 (decimal nought nought nought eight nought five) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable on demand during the currency of the loan, being a period of ten (10) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held on the 4th day of November 1968, passed the above resolution.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 12 o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 10c per line.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of general legislative force are no longer published in the New Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing) subscription $6 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, $5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
