And whereas it is expedient that the aforesaid Order in Council should be revoked in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto;

And whereas the said Dunedin City Council has duly consented to such revocation;

Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection 2 of section 20 of the Land Laws Amendment Act 1926, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the aforesaid Order in Council dated the 7th day of September 1932, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointments, promotions, adjustments of seniority, transfer in branch, reversion, transfers, and retirement of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

Cancellation of Commission

The short-service commission of Acting Pilot Officer Donald Robert Tinirau McKegg (83466) is cancelled, with effect from 17 October 1968.

Promotions

Squadron Leader (temp.) Leonard Neale Cowling, p.s.c. (715028), to be Squadron Leader, with seniority and effect from 23 October 1968.

Pilot Officer Graeme Robert Thomson (82176) to be Flying Officer, with seniority and effect from 14 October 1968.

Adjustments of Seniority

The notice published in the Gazette, 9 May 1968, No. 27, p. 745, relating to the under-mentioned Pilot Officers, is hereby amended to read: “with seniority from 14 December 1967, with effect from 29 March 1968”:
