the provisions of section 22 (1) (d) of the Public Works Act 1928, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing twelve acres three roods three perches (12A. 3R. 3P.) be the same a little more or less, situate in Block I, Waiopahu Survey District, being part Sections 22 and 24 of the said block, being also part Lot 3 on Deposited Plan No. 15701, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 5D, folio 435 (Wellington Registry).

Subject to Proclamation 500539 defining the middle line of a motorway; the same being more particularly shown on the plan hereinbefore referred to, the said piece of land being situate in Mako Mako Road, in the County of Horowhenua.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Certified Copy of a Resolution Passed at a Meeting of the Auckland City Council Held on the 13th day of December 1967

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporation Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of three million five hundred thousand dollars ($3,500,000) to be known as the Parking Building Loan 1967, $3,500,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting the cost of construction, fittings, preparation of plans, and all other expenses incidental thereto of a parking building to be erected in connection with the Auckland harbour down-town development scheme and payment of interest not exceeding $120,000 during construction, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of point eight two five seven of a cent (.8257c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of Auckland City, comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PAPARUA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Paparua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $61,600 authorised to be raised by the Paparua County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Burnside Memorial Highway Loan, No. 2, 1957, of $5,052.00 which matures on 1 October 1968, the said Paparua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0054959c in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the county; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WALLACE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan 1968

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wallace County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $32,000, authorised to be raised by the Wallace County Council pursuant to the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing workers’ dwellings for occupation by staff employed by Council, the said Wallace County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0060c in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property within the whole county; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 30th day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wallace County Council held on the 3rd day of October 1968.

WALLACE COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Te Anau Public Hall Loan

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wallace County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $16,000, authorised to be raised by the Wallace County Council pursuant to the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of financing part of the cost of constructing a public hall at Te Anau, complete with furnishings and fittings, the said Wallace County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0205c in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property within the Te Anau community centre district; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 30th day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Wallace County Council held on the 3rd day of October 1968.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION PLEDGING SPECIAL RATE

Purimu Diversion Loan 1968—$238,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Napier City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of two hundred and thirty-eight thousand dollars ($238,000) authorised to be raised by the Napier City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of diverting the Purimu Stream, improving existing drainage, and constructing pumping stations, the said Napier City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal nought seven one (.071) of a cent (c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of Napier; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan (No. 3) 1968—$107,000

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf enabling, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing principal and other charges on a loan of one hundred and seven thousand dollars ($107,000), to be raised by the Christchurch City Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the Streets Improvements Loan 1967 ($7,000) and the Electricity Extension Loan 1958 ($100,000) which mature on 1 March 1969, the said Christchurch City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of $0.0001135 in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property comprised within the City of Christchurch; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, payable on demand during the currency of the said loan.”

The Christchurch City Council, at a meeting held on the 4th day of November 1968, passed the above resolution.
