WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 8, 1967-$34,900

THIS is to certify that the following is a correct copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of Council held on the 25th day of January 1968.

"That, whereas the sum of $40,000 borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Glenfield Sewerage Loan No. 1, 1960-$560,000 is due and payable on the 1st day of March 1968, and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $5,100 and the sum of $34,900 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of $34,900 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.

(b) That, the sum of $34,900 shall be payable on the 1st day of March 1992, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.

(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 8, 1967-$34,900, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0269 of a cent in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Glenfield Riding Separate Rating Area; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution."

NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, the New Plymouth City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-nine thousand one hundred and forty dollars ($29,140), to be known as the New Plymouth City Council Pensioners Housing Loan 1967, authorised to be raised by the New Plymouth City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting flats for pensioners, the New Plymouth City Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal nought eight of a cent (0.08c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the City of New Plymouth; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the New Plymouth City Council held on the 5th day of February, 1968.

POVERTY BAY CATCHMENT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Waioeka-Otara Flood Control Scheme Loan 1967, $81,700

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $81,700 authorised to be raised by the Poverty Bay Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Board's share of the cost of carrying out the Waioeka-Otara Flood Control Scheme, the Poverty Bay Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate in the $1.00 upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property within the Waioeka-Otara Flood Control Scheme Rating District as defined by the classification list of lands prepared and adopted by the Board for such scheme, the said special rate to be on a graduated scale according to such classification list and shall be as set out in the Schedule hereto:

The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Poverty Bay Catchment Board held on 8 February 1968.

HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wainuiomata Roading Development Loan 1967, $90,000.

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Hutt County Council held on the 1st day of February, 1968.

"Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $90,000 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of constructing 'The Strand', Wainuiomata, together with associated services, drainage, kerbing, channelling, and footpaths, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal one four six cents (.146c) in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 23 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Wellington City Reserves Loan 1967 of $30,000

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 5th day of February 1968:

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to be known as the Wellington City Reserves Loan 1967 of $30,000 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of providing a playing field, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought two (.002) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the General Renewal Loan No. 1, 1968 of $101,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the abovementioned Act for the purpose of refinancing on maturity those portions of the Public Works Loan 1953, and the Public Works Loan 1957, which mature on 1 April 1968, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0243 of a cent in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of
