in New Zealand
SIMON-CARVES (Australia) Proprietary Ltd., incorporated in
New South Wales, Australia, and whose address of place of
business in New Zealand is care of Messrs Nicholls, North,
and Nicholls, A.M.P. Building, Christchurch, hereby gives
notice, pursuant to section 405 (2) of the Companies Act
1955, that it intends to cease to have a place of business in
New Zealand from 30 June 1968.

IN the matter of P. Graham and Son Ltd. (in receivership) and
in the matter of the Companies Act 1955, take notice that a
meeting of the creditors in the above matter will, in pursuance
of section 284 of the above Act, be held at The Repertory
Theatre, 148 Kilmore Street, Christchurch, on the 16th day
of February 1968, at 10.30 a.m., for the purposes set out in
sections 284, 285, and 286 of the above Act.
Agenda
- To consider an extraordinary resolution for winding up
passed by the above-named company on 7 February 1968. - To consider a statement of the position of the company's
affairs together with a list of creditors of the company and
the estimated amount of their claims. - To nominate a person to be liquidator for the purpose of
winding up the affairs and distributing the assets of the above-
named company. - To appoint members of a committee of inspection.
- To consider the appointment of members of the committee
of inspection appointed by the company.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up
of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was
on the 6th day of December 1967 presented to the said Court
by ROBERT HENRY GALLAGHER, of Auckland, contractor, and
that the said petition is directed to be heard before the
Court sitting at Auckland on the 23rd day of February 1968
at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory
of the company desirous to support or oppose the making
of an order on the said petition may appear at the time

to be heard before the Court sitting at Wellington on the
6th day of March 1968 at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any
creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to
support or oppose the making of an order on the said

IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955 and IN THE MATTER
of SERVICE FEDERATION OF NEW ZEALAND INDUSTRIES LTD.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the order of the Supreme Court
of New Zealand dated the 2nd day of February 1968 con-
firming the further reduction of capital of the above-named
company from $95,000.00 to $42,630.00 and the minute
approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of
the company as altered, the several particulars required by
the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of
Companies on the 13th day of February 1968.
The said minute is in the words and figures following:
"The capital of Service Federation of New Zealand In-
dustries Ltd. is $42,630.00 divided into 774 "A" shares of
$55 each and 1 "A" share of $60 having been reduced from
$95,000.00 divided into 5,000 ordinary shares of $10 each and
100,000 stock and credit shares of 45 cents each."

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a
certain public work, namely, the construction of a road,
and for the purposes of that public work the land described
in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And
notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the
Tauranga County Council, Barke's Corner, Cameron Road,
Tauranga, and is there open for inspection; that all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work or the
taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to
the execution of the said public work or the taking of
the said land, not being objections to the amount or pay-
ment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and
send the written objection within 40 days of the first
publication of this notice, to the Tauranga County Council
at Tauranga, and that, if any objection is made in accordance
with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be
held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector
will be advised of the time and place of the council meeting
at which the hearing will be held.
