PURSUANT to section 330 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Tokaanu Development Scheme Amending Notice 1968, No. 2.

  2. The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

WHEREAS by virtue of the notice described in the First Schedule hereto the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is now subject to Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 and it is desired to vary the same:

Now therefore, pursuant to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby gives notice as follows:


NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Whakatohea Development Scheme Amending Notice 1968, No. 1.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Plants Declared Noxious Weeds in the County of Opotiki
(Notice No. Ag. 10195)


PURSUANT to section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 and to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture under section 9 of the Department of Agriculture Act for the purpose of the said section, the following special order made by the Opotiki County Council on 17 January 1968 is hereby published.


SPECIAL ORDER

THAT the Opotiki County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, hereby resolves and declares by way of special order that the following plants, being plants mentioned in the first Schedule of the said Act, are Noxious Weeds within the County of Opotiki—

Barberry (Berberis darwinii and Berberis vulgaris).
Hawthorn (Crataegus oxycantha and Crataegus monogyna).

Notice of Varied Hours for Sale of Liquor at the Excelsior Hotel, Timaru


PURSUANT to section 221A (16) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as inserted by the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act (No. 2) 1967, I, John Lochiel Robson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the South Canterbury Licensing Committee on 26 January 1968 made an order fixing hours other than the usual hours for the opening and closing of the Excelsior Hotel, Stafford Street, Timaru, for the sale of liquor to the public, namely, that such hotel premises be authorised to open at 8.30 a.m. and close at 7.30 p.m. Monday to Saturday inclusive. (Grant limited until 24 January 1969.)
