National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway
to be a Limited Access Road

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution
dated 16 October 1968, and pursuant to section 4 of the Public
Works Amendment Act 1963, hereby declares that part of No.
1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) from the southern boundary
of Foxton Borough at Purcell Street to the Manuwatu River,
as more particularly shown on sheets 1 and 2 of plans M.O.W.
14708 and the accompanying Schedule, held in the office of
the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, Palmerston North,
and there available for public inspection, to be a limited
access road.

National Roads Board—Notice Declaring State Highway to
be a Limited Access Road and Revoking Previous Notice

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution
dated 16 October 1968, hereby revokes its resolution dated
23 July 1968, pursuant to section 4 of the Public Works
Amendment Act 1963, declaring part of No. 3 State Highway
(Hamilton to Woodville), from the southern boundary of
Waitara Borough near Brookes Street to the northern bound-
ary of New Plymouth City at Smart Road, to be a limited
access road; and, pursuant to the said section (4), hereby
declares that part of No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton to
Woodville) from the southern boundary of Waitara Borough
near Brookes Street to its intersection with Smart Road, as
more particularly shown on sheets 1, 2, 3, and 4 of plans
M.O.W. 14489 and the accompanying Schedule, held in the
office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works, New
Plymouth, and there available for public inspection, to be
a limited access road.

accompanying Schedule, held in the office of the Resident
Engineer, Ministry of Works, Palmerston North, and there
available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

held in the office of the Resident Engineer, Ministry of Works,
Palmerston North, and there available for public inspection,
to be a limited access road.

Cancellation of Registration of Industrial Union

Arbitration Act 1954, it is hereby notified that the registration
of the Wellington and Taranaki Soap, Candle, Tannery, and
Related Trades Industrial Union of Workers, Registered No.

will, unless cause to the contrary is shown, be cancelled on
the expiration of 6 weeks from the date of the publication

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

Pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities
Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant
Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to
the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance,

Consenting to Raising of Loan by Timaru Harbour Board

Pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities
Loans Amendment Act 1967), the Secretary to the Treasury,
acting under powers delegated to him by the Minister of
Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the Timaru
Harbour Board of the sum of $550,000 or any part thereof
by a loan to be known as the Meat Store Loan 1968.

Australia Free Trade Agreement

Notice is hereby given that, as a result of the withdrawal of
the representations which led to the decision to conduct an
inquiry on the various cooking, heating, and other appliances
listed in Schedule B to Tariff and Development Board Notice
No. 68, the public inquiry notified in the New Zealand Gazette
on Thursday, 29 August 1968, and set down for Monday, 4
November 1968, will not be held.
