RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Gaswork L.D.F. Plant Loan 1968—$30,000

“PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) authorised to be
raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of installing a peak-load, oil-
reforming plant at the Blenheim Municipal Gasworks, the
said Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of .045c in the dollar ($) on the rateable unim-
proved value of all rateable property within the Borough of
Blenheim; and that the special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be pay-
able yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of fifteen
years (15 years), or until the loan is fully paid off”.

Pensioner Housing Loan 1968—$23,600

“PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Blenheim Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of securing the interest and other
charges on a loan of twenty-three thousand six hundred
dollars ($23,600) authorised to be raised by the Blenheim
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the said
Blenheim Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of .019c in the dollar ($) on the rateable unimproved
value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim;
and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of April in each and every year during the cur-
rency of the loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or
until the loan is fully paid off”.

Water Supply and Reticulation Loan 1967, $220,000.00—
First Part, $150,000.00

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and of all
other powers it thereunto enabling, the Richmond Borough
Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing for the annual charges
in respect of the said loan, the Richmond Borough Council
hereby makes, by way of special order, a special rate of point
three one five cents (315c) in the dollar on the rateable
value of all the rateable property in the Richmond Borough,
on the basis of the unimproved value; and that such special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate on the 1st day of April
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
for a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

JOINT FAMILY HOMES ACT 1954

NOTICE is hereby given that Rodney Easthope, of Napier,
company manager, has, by application No. 7227, applied under
the Joint Family Homes Act 1964 to register as a joint family
home the land situated at Napier and described as 33 perches,
more or less, being Lot 363 on Deposited Plan 9341, being
part Block 121 of Puketapu Crown Grant District, and being
all the land in certificate of title, H.B. 169/167; and that the
land will be registered accordingly unless a caveat forbidding
the granting of the application is lodged with me, under that
Act, at the District Land Registry Office at Napier before
3 January 1969 by some person claiming either to be a creditor
of the applicant or to have some estate or interest in the said
land.

THE MINING ACT 1926

APPLICATION FOR CHANGES TO WATER RACE

NOEL FELIX MANSON and Terence George Manson, of
Paerau, farmers, give notice that they have applied to the
warden of the Otago Mining District at Cromwell to alter
the point of intake, line of race, and terminal part of water
race licence 10780. The race will now commence 200 yd north-
north-east of Loganburn Ford Bridge and will run through
Run 308H, crossing Serpentine Flat Road 50 chains below
north-east boundary of Run 308H, and terminating 200 yd
from Serpentine Flat Road and 20 chains from Loganburn
Ford Road. The application will be heard at the Warden’s
Court, Cromwell, at 10 a.m. on the 19th day of November
1968. Objections must be filed in the Registrar’s office and
notified to applicants at least 3 days before the time so
appointed.
