TE AWAMUTU BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pensioners Flats Loan 1967

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Te Awamutu Borough Council hereby resolves:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $12,800, authorised to be raised under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of eight pensioners flats, the said Te Awamutu Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of .021 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Te Awamutu and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The Common Seal of the Te Awamutu Borough Council was hereto affixed at the office of, and pursuant to a resolution of, the Council in the presence of:

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Notice of Application for Consent to Change of Use

NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by the Otara Maori Committee for consent to a change of use from the draft district scheme of the City of Manukau in that the applicant wishes to use the below described land for the purposes of erecting thereon buildings for use as a “marae” for Maoris, Pacific Islanders, and Europeans.

The property is bounded to the south by Gilbert Road and to the east by the Otara Road Extension, Otara, and is zoned as a publicly owned park and sports ground vested under the Reserves and Domains Act 1953.

The legal description is that piece of land containing approximately 2.9 acres, being part Lot 180, Deposited Plan 49685, part of Allotment 4, Parish of Manurewa (known as the Otara Reserve), and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 695, folio 71, North Auckland Registry.

The application may be examined at the offices of the Manukau City Council, David Nathan Park, Hill Road, Manurewa, during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the City Manager, Manukau City Council, Private Bag, Manurewa, not later than 4 p.m. on the 2nd day of March 1968.

Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.

THE MINING ACT 1926

APPLICATION FOR A WATER RACE

NOTICE is hereby given that Ernest Joseph Conway and David Joseph Conway, of Coal Creek, have applied to the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Cromwell, by application No. 7/1968 for a water-race licence to take a quarter (¼) head of water from a spring in Section 145, Block II, Teviot S.D., by a race approx. 9½ chains long, running north-westerly through Section 145 and Lots 1 and 2, Deposited Plan 8439, for irrigation, frost fighting, stock and domestic supply.

ADMINISTRATION ACT

ESTATE OF ARTHUR GEORGE RENNEY

IN the matter of the Administration Act 1952 and its amendments and in the matter of the estate of Arthur George Renney, late of Dunedin, but now deceased, notice is hereby given that the Public Trustee of New Zealand, on the 15th day of January 1968 filed a certificate in the Supreme Court at Dunedin, electing to administer the above-mentioned estate under Part IV of the Administration Act 1952, and that the said estate will, as from the said date, be administered, realised and distributed in accordance with the law and practice of bankruptcy.

I do hereby summon a meeting of creditors of the above estate to be held at the Public Trust Office, Dunedin, on the 29th day of January 1968 at 11 o’clock in the forenoon.

All creditors, whether they have already submitted their claims or not, are required to prove their debts within the time and in the manner provided by the Bankruptcy Act 1908. Proof of debt forms may be procured at my office.

(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram, $5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936–37 and 1939–42 are out of print.)
