ALL that area of approximately 12 acres in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District, on the southern boundary of the Northcote Borough, bearing 152° 27′ 40″ from the easternmost corner of Lot 6, D.P. 38840, and proceeding south-easterly on that bearing for a distance of 1045.84 links; thence westerly along a right line to the north-eastern corner of Lot 7, D.P. 9605, on the southern side of Marama Terrace; thence north-westerly generally along the boundaries of the Birkenhead Borough as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1935, page 747, and the Waitemata County as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1957, page 1295, to and easterly generally along the aforementioned Northcote Borough boundary as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1964, page 294, to the point of commencement.

THIRD SCHEDULE

ALL that area of approximately 14 acres in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the southern side of the stream forming the southern boundary of Lot 20, D.P. 43233, and the western side of Tui Glen Road, in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly along the southern side of that stream, to and southerly along the western boundary of Allotment 8, Takapuna Parish, to and still southerly along the Northcote Borough boundary as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1964, page 294, to the northern side of Onewa Road; thence westerly along the northern side of Onewa Road to and along the western side of Kauri Glen Road to and along the southern boundaries of Lots 14 and 34, Deeds Plan T.60A, to Park Avenue; thence along a right line to the southernmost corner of Lot 35 and along the southern boundary and then northerly generally along the western boundary of that lot, and the western boundaries of Lots 36, 37, and 38, to the north-western corner of Lot 38; thence along a right line to the south-western corner of Lot 39, and along the western boundaries of Lots 39 and 40, and the western and northern boundaries of Lot 41, all the aforesaid lots being shown on Deeds Plan T.60A, and along the western sides of Park Avenue and Tui Glen Road to the point of commencement.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

ALL that area of approximately 64 acres in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District, at the northernmost corner of the reclamation abutting the eastern boundaries of the parts Lots 86 and 87, D.P. 21894, set apart for motorway and described in N.Z. Gazette, 1962, page 1846, and shown as new filling on S.O. plan 41941, and proceeding southerly generally along the line of mean high-water on the said new filling to and along a north-eastern boundary of the area of 61 acres and 10 perches taken for motorway and described in N.Z. Gazette, 1962, page 1851, and shown on S.O. plan 41941 aforesaid, to a point bearing 55° 49′ 40″ and distant 50 links from iron spike LII; thence along a right line to iron spike XXXVIA, both spikes being shown on S.O. plan 41941, and along that right line produced to, and still southerly generally along the generally eastern boundary of the aforesaid area of 61 acres and 10 perches, as shown on S.O. plans 41941, 41943, and 41945, to and along the eastern and southern boundaries of an area of 10 acres 2 roods 5 perches shown on S.O. plans 42621 and 42623 as land to be taken for Auckland Harbour Bridge approaches, and along the generally south-eastern boundary of an area of 3 roods 29 perches shown on S.O. plan 42623 as land to be taken as aforesaid, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned area; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundary of the Northcote Borough as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1964, page 294, to and easterly along the northern boundary of an area of 1 rood 9 perches shown coloured yellow and edged yellow on S.O. plan 44559, to and again northerly along the western boundary of the aforementioned area of 10 acres 2 roods 5 perches, and the western boundary of the aforesaid area of 61 acres and 10 perches, to and westerly along the southern boundary of an area of 3 roods 21 perches taken for road by proclamation published in N.Z. Gazette, 1962, page 1880,

and northerly along another part of the aforesaid Northcote Borough boundary, to and generally easterly along the generally northern boundary of the said area of 3 roods 21 perches, and continuing easterly and then north-easterly generally along that part of the aforesaid Northcote Borough boundary forming the north-western boundary of the said area of 61 acres and 10 perches and continuing along that north-western boundary as shown on S.O. plans 41945 and 41943, to and again along the aforesaid Borough boundary to the point of commencement.

Also all that area of approximately 10 acres in the North Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District, on the southern boundary of the Northcote Borough, bearing 152° 27′ 40″ from the easternmost corner of Lot 6, D.P. 38840, and proceeding south-easterly on that bearing for a distance of 1045.84 links; thence easterly along a right line bearing 78° 52′ to the aforesaid Borough boundary; thence northerly and south-westerly generally along that boundary as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1964, page 294, to the point of commencement.

Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 13.5 perches, more or less, in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District, taken for road by proclamation published in N.Z. Gazette, 1962, page 1880, and shown on S.O. plan 41945.

Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 47 acres 1 rood, more or less, in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District, being part of the bed of Shoal Bay, Waitemata Harbour, known as the Onepoto Basin, and shown on S.O. plan 40967.

Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District, being part of the bed of the Waitemata Harbour, and shown on S.O. plan 45028.

Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 2 roods 25 perches, more or less, in Block XII, Waitemata Survey District, being part of the bed of Shoal Bay, Waitemata Harbour, and shown on S.O. plan 45029.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 5th day of February 1968

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. The area described in the Schedule hereto is hereby included in the Otawa Drainage District.

  2. This order shall be deemed to have been effected under the Land Drainage Act 1908.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Franklin County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block VII, Maioro Survey District, on the right bank of the Waikato River in line with the north-eastern boundary of Allotment 186, Waiuku West Parish, and proceeding north-westerly generally along the generally western boundary of the Otawa Drainage District as described in N.Z. Gazette, 1911, page 2809, to a point on the southern boundary of Allotment 58, Waiuku West Parish, in line with the eastern side of the public road forming the eastern boundary of Allotment 127; thence along a right line to the intersection of the eastern side of that road with the southern side of Maioro Road and to and westerly along the southern side of Maioro Road to and southerly generally along the eastern side of the public road forming the western boundaries of Allotments 120, 121, 122, and 128 and part Waiuku West Lot 130B to its intersection with the northern side of Motions Road; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of Allotment 71, along the north-western and south-western boundaries of Allotment 71 and along the production of the last-mentioned boundary to and still southerly generally along the south-eastern side of Port Waikato - Maioro Road and continuing along the generally western boundary of Allotment 78, the western and southern boundaries of Allotment 187, the south-western boundary of Allotment 156 and the western and southern boundaries of Allotment 147 to the right bank of the stream forming part of the southern boundary of Allotment 147, all the aforesaid allotments being of Waiuku West Parish; thence southerly along that right bank and northerly along the right bank of the Waikato River to the point of commencement.
