IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955 and IN THE
MATTER of K. A. MUDGWAY (S.I.) LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 37 Manchester Street, Christchurch:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition for the winding up
of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was on
the 10th day of September 1968 presented to the said Court
by Eric Godfrey Lindell, of Rotorua, retired mercer; and
that the said petition is directed to be heard before the
Court sitting at Christchurch on Wednesday, the 9th day
of October 1968, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any
creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to
support or oppose the making of an order on the said
petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his
counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be
furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory
of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the
regulated charge for the same.

signed by the person, or firm, or his, or their, solicitor (if
any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by
post, in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner's
address for service not later than 4 o'clock in the afternoon
of the 8th day of October 1968.

CLUTHA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that the Clutha County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 and
the Counties Act 1956 and their amendments, to take the
land described in the Schedule hereto for road. Notice is
hereby further given that a plan showing the land proposed
to be taken is deposited in the public offices of the Clutha
County Council, situated at Clyde Street, Balclutha, and is
there open for inspection by all persons during ordinary
office hours. Every person affected, who wishes to make any
objection to the taking of the said land (not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation), must state
his objection, in writing, and send the same within 40 days
from the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk,
Clutha County Council, Balclutha. If any such objection is
made a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless
the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land (shown coloured sepia on S.O. Plan
No. 16622) containing one (1) acre and thirty-two decimal
eight (32.8) poles, being part Section two (2), Block ninety-
one (XCI), Clutha Survey District; which said land adjoins
the Waiwera-Kaihiku road in the County of Clutha.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $100,000 authorised to be raised by the Whangarei
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural
Housing Act, the said Whangarei County Council hereby
makes a special rate of 0.044c in the dollar upon the rate-
able value of all rateable property of the County of Whanga-
rei; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable half-
yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October
in each and every year during the currency of the loan,
being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off".

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $55,000 authorised to be raised by the Whangarei
County Council under the above-mentioned Act for pur-
chasing land for housing development, the said Whangarei
County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0026c in the
dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of
the County of Whangarei; and that the special rate shall be
an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and
be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st
day of October in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off".

KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioner Housing Loan 1968-$23,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of twenty-three thousand dollars ($23,000)
authorised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting
accommodation for old people, the said Kaikohe Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0024 of a cent in
the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property
in the Kaikohe Borough District; and that the special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the
loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January
and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the
currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the
loan is fully paid off".
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed
at an ordinary meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council held
on the 16th day of September 1968.

DARGAVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and
to each and every power it thereunto enabling, for the
purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of
$64,000, described as Waterworks Extension Loan 1967 and
authorised to be raised by the Dargaville Borough Council
under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending
the filter plant and installing an auxiliary river intake, the
body corporate called the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens
of the Borough of Dargaville hereby makes a special rate
of decimal four two five of a cent (.425c) in the dollar on the
rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of
Dargaville on the basis of the unimproved value; such special
rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of
the loan and to be payable yearly on the 1st day of August
in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $550,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau
City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose
of carrying out sewer reticulation within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special
rate of decimal nought three six six cents (.0366c) in the
dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rate-
