NOTICE is hereby given that by duly signed entry in the minute book of the company on the 9th day of September 1968, the Company passed the following resolution as a special resolution:

"That the company be wound up voluntarily and that Allan Keith Ian Carran, of Hastings, public accountant, be and is hereby appointed liquidator of the company at such remuneration as may be fixed by resolution of the company."

IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955 and IN THE MATTER of U.E.B. INDUSTRIES LIMITED, a company duly incorporated in New Zealand and having its registered office at Auckland:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 23rd day of August 1968 confirming the reduction of the share premium account of the above-named company from $2,781,411.00 to $1,947,631.00 and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act were registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 6th day of September 1968.

The said minute is in the words and figures following:

"That the Share Premium Account of the Company be reduced to $1,947,631 and that such reduction be effected by writing off the sum of $833,780 being the amount shown in the Balance Sheet of the Company as at the 31st day of March 1968 as 'Adjustment of Investment in Subsidiary Companies'."

BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road within the County of Bay of Islands; and, for the purposes of such public work, the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the County Clerk to the said Council, situate on Main Road, Kawakawa, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the County Office, Main Road, Kawakawa.

APPROXIMATE area of parcels of land required to be taken:

A strip of land 150 links wide, abutting the foreshore, and extending from the northern boundary of Section 8, D.P. 13973, Block III, Russell S.D., to the southern boundary of the said Section 8.

MASTERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and in the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Masterton Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the taking for a service lane of that part of Cricket Street in the Borough of Masterton coloured blue and grey on the plan hereinafter referred to, and the taking for a street of that part of the said street coloured yellow on the said plan; and, for the purposes of such public work, the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Chapel Street, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Chapel Street.
