Cancellation of Vesting in the Ashburton County Council and Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve and the Change of Purpose of Reserves

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ashburton and revokes the reservation over the reserve for water race, plantation, and internal communication purposes described in the First Schedule hereto; and, further, changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto from a reserve for water race, plantation, and internal communication purposes to a reserve for gravel purposes.

Change of the Purpose of a Reserve and Vesting of the Reserve in the Molyneux Pest Destruction Board

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for a gravel pit to a reserve for a site for pest destruction board buildings; and, further, vests the said reserve in the Molyneux Pest Destruction Board.

Revocation of Reservation over a Recreation Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and, further, declares that the said land may be leased or sold by the Invercargill City Council on such terms and conditions as the Council shall determine, the proceeds from any such leasing or sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation reserves.
