Declaring Land in Canterbury Land District, Vested in the
Canterbury Education Board as a Site for a School, to be
Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and de-
clare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being
an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board as a site
for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed
and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same,
but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements
affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE
Canterbury Land District-Waipara County
Part Rural Section 7540, situated in Block XII, Waipara Survey
District: area, 2 acres, more or less. All certificate of title,
Volume 364, folio 27. Limited as to parcels.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 10th day of September 1968.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 19th day of
August 1968

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents
to the Waitemata County Council stopping the portion of
road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of road containing 1 acre and 38.8 perches
situated in Block II, Titirangi Survey District, North Auck-
land R.D., adjoining or passing through parts of Lots 9, 10,
11, and 24, D.P. 8632; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 22128 (S.O. 45143)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Welling-
ton, and thereon coloured green.

Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents
to the Westland County Council stopping the portion of road
described in the Schedule hereto.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
All that piece of road containing 9.6 perches situated in
Block I, Kaniere Survey District, Westland R.D., adjoining
or passing through Crown land and Section 29, Town of
Kaniere; as the same is more particularly delineated on the
plan marked M.O.W. 22441 (S.O. 5307) deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured green.

The Bay of Plenty Electric Power District Representation Order
1968

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 9th day
of September 1968
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.
ORDER

  1. (i) This order may be cited as the Bay of Plenty Electric
    Power District Representation Order 1968.
    (ii) This order shall come into force on the date of
    the next general election of members of local authorities.
  2. The constituent districts of the Bay of Plenty Electric
    Power District which are bracketed together in the first
    column of the Schedule hereto, shall be a combined district
    for the purpose of the said Act.
  3. The local authority of the constituent district disting-
    uished in the first column of the Schedule hereto by the letter
    β€œ(P)” shall be in the principal local authority of the said
    combined district.
  4. The number of representatives of each constituent district
    shall be the number specified in the Schedule opposite the
    name of that constituent district or combined district.
  5. The Order in Council dated the 19th day of August 1959
    and published in the Gazette on the 20th day of the same
    month at page 1149 reapportioning representation on the Bay
    of Plenty Electric Power Board is hereby revoked.
