Appointment of Member of Broadwood Domain Board
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints John Falconer Hick to be a member of the Broadwood Domain Board, North Auckland Land District, in place of Klaas Kater, resigned.

Appointment of Members of Owaka Township Domain Board
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby increases the total number of members of the Owaka Township Domain Board, Otago Land District, from eight to nine, and appoints William John Turnbull as the additional member of the Board; and, further, pursuant to the said Act, appoints
Ian Royal Blue,
Alan Thomas Burgess, and
Brian Dixon Crawford
to be members of the Owaka Township Domain Board in place of Bruce Henry Jaggar, Lester James Logan, and William David Thompson, all resigned.

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, the Minister of Labour hereby notifies that the Intellectually Handicapped Children’s Society (Incorporated), Franklin Branch, is an organisation approved for the purposes of that Act.

Import Control Exemption Notice (No. 9) 1968
PURSUANT to regulation 16 of the Import Control Regulations 1964*, as from and including 6 September 1968 the Minister of Customs hereby:
(a) AMENDS the exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations contained in the notice under the said regulation 16, dated the 29th day of March 1968, and published on p. 548 of the Gazette of the 4th day of April 1968, so far as it relates only to that portion of the exemption referring to textile fabrics and glass fabrics classified under items of Tariff Chapters 50 to 58 and 70, and described as follows:
“(e) Textile fabrics, woven, containing in any proportion man-made discontinuous fibres (e.g., staple fibres), but not containing wool or hair, and weighing not less than 6 oz per sq yd, whether plain, hemmed, whipped, or similarly worked, other than such textile fabrics admissible under Part II, reference 11.0 of the Customs Tariff as at 31 December 1967”
by DELETING therefrom the words “other than such textile fabrics admissible under Part II, reference 11.0 of the Customs Tariff as at 31 December 1967”.
(b) WITHDRAWS the exemption from the requirement of a licence under the said regulations contained in the notice under the said regulation 16, dated the 2nd day of June 1967, and published on p. 1026 of the Gazette of the 15th day of June 1967, and described as follows:
‘Ex 59.11.18 Textile fabrics, woven (excluding quilted fabrics), lightly rubberised, in which the rubberising is insufficient to make the fabric impermeable to water, containing in any proportion man-made discontinuous fibres, but not wool or hair, and weighing not less than 6 oz per sq yd, admissible under Part II, Reference 11.0 of the Customs Tariff’
and in lieu thereof SUBSTITUTES the following:
‘Ex 59.11.18 Textile fabrics, woven (excluding quilted fabrics), lightly rubberised, in which the rubberising is insufficient to make the fabric impermeable to water, containing in any proportion man-made discontinuous fibres, but not containing wool or hair, and weighing less than 6 oz per sq yd’.

Specifying Areas in Which Owners of Cattle Shall Submit Their Cattle for Testing with the Tuberculin Test (Notice No. Ag. 10293)
PURSUANT to section 53 (8) of the Animals Act 1967, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares all those areas of land comprising the counties and off-shore islands set out in the Schedule hereto for the time being constituted, and including all cities, boroughs, and town districts surrounded by or contiguous to these counties, to be areas in which, on and from 1 September 1968, each owner of cattle shall, as often as and in such a manner as he may be required so to do by the Director-General of Agriculture, submit his cattle for testing with the tuberculin test for the purposes of the said section.
