Pursuant to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Waitemata County Council to reclaim Crown foreshore from Weiti (Wade) River, an area of 4 acres 3 roods 9 perches, more or less; as shown edged green on drawing L. 693, now numbered M.D. 12946 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

Validating Proceedings Taken by Matamata Borough Council in Connection with the Waterworks No. 2 Loan 1967

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Whereas the Matamata Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as 'the Council') has commenced proceedings to raise a loan of $32,000 to be known as the Waterworks No. 2 Loan 1967 ('the loan'); and whereas, pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the Council has obtained consent to raise the loan: and whereas the proceedings in connection with the loan were irregular or defective in that, contrary to regulation 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Regulations 1957, there was an interval of less than 14 days between the date on which the Council gave public notice of its intention to consider a motion to make an application for the sanction of the Local Authorities Loans Board to raise the loan and the date on which the Council considered the motion aforesaid: and whereas it appears that the ratepayers of the district have not been misled by the irregularity or defect aforesaid and it is expedient to validate the same;

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 130 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the proceedings in connection with the raising of the loan shall be valid to all intents and purposes as though an interval of not less than 14 days had elapsed between the said dates, and hereby further orders and declares that the validity of the proceedings in connection with the raising of the loan shall not be questioned on the ground of the irregularity or defect aforesaid.

Pursuant to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the District Valuation Rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 1 September 1968.

Appointment of Chairman of the Special Town and Country Planning Appeal Board

Revocation of Appointment of Officer Authorised to Take and Receive Statutory Declarations

Pursuant to section 9 of the Oaths and Declarations Act 1957, His Excellency the Governor-General has revoked the appointment, authorised on 27 June 1968, of the holder for the time being of the office of Senior Administration Officer, Department of Maori and Islands Affairs, Wellington, in the service of the Crown as an officer authorised to take and receive statutory declarations under the said Act.

Appointment of New Zealand Historic Places Trust to Control and Manage a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the New Zealand Historic Places Trust to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a private historic reserve.
