CENTRAL CANTERBURY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
EXTRACT from the minutes of proceedings of the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board at a meeting of such Board held on Tuesday, 13 August 1968.
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $400,000, to be known as No. 19 Reticulation Loan 1968, authorised to be raised by the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of further reticulating the Central Canterbury Electric Power District, the said Central Canterbury Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one-twenty-eighth (1/28) of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Central Canterbury Electric Power District, comprising the whole of the Counties of Ellesmere, Akaroa, Wairewa, Mount Herbert, Malvern, and Tawera, parts of the Counties of Paparua and Heathcote, and part of Lyttelton Borough; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.
We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of, and a correct extract from, the minutes of proceedings of the Central Canterbury Electric Power Board at the meeting above written.

KIWITEA COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
Kiwitea County District Scheme Approved
PURSUANT to the Town and County Planning Regulations 1960, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for the County of Kiwitea was approved by the Council, by resolution passed at its meeting on the 21st day of August 1968, after all objections and arbitrations relating to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been amended to give effect to all objections allowed.
The Council has also resolved that the scheme shall come into operation on the 1st day of September 1968.
Copies of the scheme as approved have been deposited in the Council’s office and in every public library in the district, and may be inspected, without fee, by any person who so requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

MANUKAU CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL ORDER INCREASING MEMBERSHIP OF COUNCIL AND ALTERING NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF VARIOUS WARDS
“THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, as follows:
“1. To increase the number of members of the Manukau City Council from eighteen (18) members exclusive of the Mayor to nineteen (19) members exclusive of the Mayor.
“2. To alter the number of the members for the various wards so that the ward representation shall be as follows:
Manurewa Ward 5
Mangere Ward 5
Pakuranga Ward 4
Otara Ward 4
Clevedon Ward 1
“3. The foregoing alterations shall come into force at the next triennial general election of the Council, to be held on the 12th day of October 1968.”
The foregoing special order was duly passed at a special meeting of the Manukau City Council, duly convened for the purpose and held on the 25th day of July 1968 and confirmed at a subsequent meeting held on the 22nd day of August 1968.

ANGELICAN CHILDREN’S TRUST AMENDMENT ACT 1968
PUBLIC notice is hereby given by the Church of England Children’s Trust, having its office at 73 Khyber Pass Road, Auckland, that it intends to apply forthwith for leave to introduce a Private Bill under the short title of “Anglican Children’s Trust Amendment Act 1968”. The objects of such Bill are as follows:
To change the name of the Church of England Children’s Trust and to amend the Church of England Children’s Trust Act 1962.
Copies of the Bill may be inspected by the public, without fee, during office hours, at the office of the Church of England Children’s Trust, 73 Khyber Pass Road, Auckland.

THE OTAGO FOUNDATION TRUST BOARD AMENDMENT ACT 1968
NOTICE is hereby given that the Otago Presbyterian Church Board of Property proposes to apply for leave to bring into the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled during its present session a Private Bill, the objects of which are to change the Board’s name to the Otago Foundation Trust Board, to empower the Board to sell further lands, and to vary the powers of the Board to lease any of the lands or buildings vested in it or any parts thereof, to extend the powers of the Board to invest in the purchase of freehold lands and buildings and improvements on freehold land by removing the present restriction that such land must be in the Provincial District of Otago.
The promoter of this Private Bill is the Otago Presbyterian Church Board of Property.
