area which comprises the area commencing at the
city boundary on the east side of Greers Road, along
Greers Road to the northern branch of the Waimairi
Stream, south of Memorial Avenue; from the junc-
tion of Greers Road and Memorial Avenue along
Memorial Avenue to Ilam Road; thence south along
Ilam Road to its junction with Kirkwood Avenue;
thence east along Kirkwood Avenue to Clyde Road;
thence following around the Fendalton Riding
boundary to Ilam Road; thence along Ilam Road to
a point in line with the intersection of Ilam Road
and Brookside Terrace; thence in a northerly direc-
tion along the county boundary to the starting point
in Greers Road.

SECURITY RATE
Renewal Loan (Memorial Highways) 1968, $7,674
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Waimairi County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges
on a loan of $7,674 authorised to be raised by the Waimairi
County Council under the provisions of the above-mentioned
Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion
of the Burnside Road Memorial Highway Loan No. 2, 1957, of
$12,831, which matures on 1 October 1968, the Waimairi
County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.000751c
(cents) in the $ (dollar) upon the rateable value on the
basis of capital value of all rateable property in the Waimairi
County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly
on the 1st day of April in each year and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.”

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
VARIATION IN APPOINTMENT OF MANAGING RATEPAYERS—
FITZHERBERT WEST WATER RACE DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Kairanga
County Council held on Tuesday, 13 August 1968, the
following resolution was passed:
That, the special order passed by the Kairanga County
Council on 19 January 1932, appointing managing rate-
payers of the Fitzherbert West Water Race District, and
amended by resolution of the Council on 12 October 1937,
9 October 1944, 10 May 1949, 10 March 1953, 11 May 1954,
28 February 1961, 8 March 1962, and 11 August 1964, be
further amended, on account of a vacancy occurring on the
committee by the resignation of Jack Roy Aldrich, by the
appointment thereon of Alan Leslie Aldrich as his successor,
the members of the said committee being now as hereunder:

ADVERTISEMENT OF CANCELLATION
NOTICE is hereby given that the Deputy Registrar of Friendly
Societies has, pursuant to section 70 of the Friendly Societies
Act 1909, by writing under his hand dated this 19th day of
August 1968, cancelled the registry of Court Pride of the
Forest, No. 3122, a branch of the Nelson District of the
Ancient Order of Foresters (Register No. 4/1) held at
Wakapuaka, on the ground that the said branch has ceased
to exist.

Under the Regulations Act 1936, statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing)
subscription $6 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
$5 per volume. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and
1939-42 are out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
